Ten-year-old guitarist and vocalist Daisy Leigh captivated the PCEC audience with confident performances of classic rock favorites as musician Johnny Leigh joined her onstage to discuss her growing singing, guitar, and modeling career.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The Pattaya City Expats Club, on April 22, was treated to an extraordinary musical showcase as 10‑year‑old guitarist, singer, and all‑around performer Daisy Leigh delivered a powerhouse set that left the audience cheering, laughing, and repeatedly asking for more.

Daisy, accompanied by her father and musical mentor Johnny Leigh, opened the morning with confident charm before launching into a series of classic rock favorites. Her skill level after only one year and four months of guitar study overwhelmed the crowd. Many long‑time club members described the performance as “unlike anything the club has ever hosted.”

Between songs, Daisy shared her artistic journey. She began keyboard at age five, performed publicly from age six, and now fronts her own band, The Layovers, performing twice weekly around Pattaya. Beyond music, she studies dance and modeling, recently appearing at the Royal Cliff Hotel with her dance group. And she has even begun learning to play drums.

Her setlist showcased remarkable versatility, spanning Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Queen, AC/DC, ABBA, and more. Highlights included crowd‑pleasing renditions of Highway to Hell, Whole Lotta Rosie, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and a show‑stopping encore of Back in Black. At one point, Daisy even performed a model’s runway walk to the delight of the audience.

Johnny Leigh expressed hopes of finding a professional manager to help guide Daisy’s rapidly developing career. MC Ren Lexander noted that her talent would not be out of place on international stages such as “America’s Got Talent.”

Concluding her performance, Daisy received a standing ovation for Pattaya’s rising young star, a performer whose talent, confidence, and charisma promise a bright future ahead.

Following the presentations, MC Ren Lexander brought everyone up to date on upcoming PCEC events followed by the Open Forum portion of the meeting where questions are asked and comments made about Expat living in Thailand, especially Pattaya.
