BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has unveiled a commemorative logo celebrating the 80th anniversary of Thailand’s membership in the United Nations. The logo was selected through a public design competition and created by 17-year-old student Chamahthorn Uengsamphop from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School in Pathum Thani province.

According to the ministry, the logo incorporates the number 80 alongside symbols representing peace, connectivity, and sustainable growth. The design also includes elements associated with Thailand, such as an elephant and the national flag, along with laurel imagery and the United Nations emblem to represent peacekeeping cooperation and Thailand’s relationship with the international organization.

Thai officials and UN representatives discussed continued cooperation across peace and security, human rights, and development.
