Police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old online seller found inside a condominium near Bangkok while her boyfriend has been arrested in Chiang Mai after fleeing the scene and is now being brought back for legal proceedings.

BANGKOK, Thailand – A 25-year-old online seller was found dead inside a condominium in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi province, prompting a police investigation that led to the arrest of her boyfriend in Chiang Mai after he reportedly fled the scene.

Police from Bang Bua Thong Police Station discovered the victim, identified as Ms. Panitsuda, also known as “Dream,” lying face down beside her bed on the fourth floor of an eight-storey condominium. She was wearing only underwear, with two pillows placed over her head. Officers also reported that items in the room appeared disorganized.



Investigators found a diary belonging to her 33-year-old boyfriend, who is also an online trader. The note allegedly contained messages suggesting that someone was trying to harm him and included requests to take care of his cat and personal belongings.

According to police, the couple had been living together for over five years. Family members said the boyfriend had a history of mental health issues and paranoid behavior, while the victim was reportedly suffering from depression. Authorities also noted that the couple had a history of serious arguments, including previous physical altercations.

Police in Nonthaburi have arrested a 33-year-old man in Chiang Mai after he allegedly fled following the death of his 25-year-old girlfriend, an online vendor found with a pillow placed over her head inside a condominium room in Bang Bua Thong district.

CCTV footage from the condominium showed the suspect leaving the building alone on April 30 at around 4:30 p.m. before driving away in a red car. He then disappeared and could not be contacted, leading police to seek a warrant for his arrest.

The suspect’s parents told police that he had been receiving psychiatric treatment but was reportedly not taking medication regularly. They also said the couple frequently argued, including disputes over mobile phone use.



Police later confirmed that the suspect fled to Chiang Mai after abandoning his vehicle in Suphan Buri province and traveling by bus. He was eventually located and arrested at a hotel in Chiang Mai.

Authorities said forensic doctors from the Institute of Forensic Medicine are working to determine the exact cause of death, while investigators continue to gather evidence for prosecution. The suspect is now being transferred back to Nonthaburi for legal proceedings. (TNA)
