BANGKOK, Thailand – The Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2026 is now in full swing in Bangkok, transforming Benjakitti Park into a vibrant hub of culture, music, and celebration from April 11 to 15. With free entry, the festival is drawing crowds of locals and visitors eager to experience one of Thailand’s biggest and most dynamic Songkran events.

Across five days, the festival offers a rich mix of traditional and modern attractions. Visitors can explore the “Songkran in 5 Regions” zones, showcasing cultural performances, hands-on workshops, and local products from across the country. The atmosphere blends heritage with entertainment, from water-pouring rituals for blessings to lively temple fair activities, including games and a Ferris wheel.



Food lovers can enjoy more than 100 stalls serving regional dishes and street food favorites, while music fans are treated to live concerts by top Thai artists and energetic EDM water parties. Each evening, the celebration reaches a highlight with a spectacular drone light show featuring over 1,200 drones illuminating the Bangkok skyline.

Designed to be inclusive, the event also features dedicated areas for families, children, and seniors, ensuring a welcoming experience for all ages.
