He encourages everyone to spend quality time with family and assures the public that fuel supplies and national security are being closely monitored.
The Prime Minister announced plans to inspect transport terminals and oversee public order during the holiday. He encouraged the public to celebrate responsibly, noting that fuel supplies are secure but urging everyone to use energy wisely. He emphasized that safety is the top priority and reminded citizens not to drive after consuming alcohol to help ensure a safe and enjoyable festival.
The Prime Minister stated that Cabinet members, many of whom are Members of Parliament, are active in their constituencies to support travel and provide public assistance during the long weekend. He expressed confidence in their ability to manage local affairs effectively.
The Prime Minister addressed global concerns, stating that the government is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East. He noted that while Thailand observes national holidays, international markets remain active, and the administration is working to secure crude oil and other essential imports. He added that Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Suriya Jungrungreangkit will travel abroad to negotiate fertilizer and fuel supplies.
