TAT signs tourism cooperation deals with Guizhou and Sanya to expand China–Thailand travel links

Thailand and China deepen tourism ties as the Tourism Authority of Thailand signs cooperation agreements with Guizhou Province and Sanya City, focusing on two-way travel, joint marketing, and influencer-driven promotion.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) on Tourism Promotion and Cooperation with Guizhou Province and Sanya City in China.

The LOI between Thailand and China was signed by the TAT and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, at the 20th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province.

The LOI aims at designing long-term strategic cooperation, quality Thai-Chinese tourism via two-way

tourism, and joint marketing.

In addition, the TAT also signed an LOI on Sanya Tourism Strategic Promotion Partner (Thailand) with the Sanya Tourism Board at the Sanya Tourism Promotion Press Conference in Thailand.


It focuses on multi-dimensional tourism promotion, including two-way tourism, joint marketing, tourism product and route development, and exchange of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers for tourism promotion.

These achievements mark another milestone between Thailand and China in elevating bilateral tourism cooperation, leading to sustainable tourism cooperation between the two countries. (PRD)
