BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of Consular Affairs has issued its fourth advisory for Thai nationals in the Middle East due to rising tensions and ongoing military operations involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Thai nationals in the region to avoid high-risk areas, such as military bases, critical infrastructure, and locations linked to the conflict. Thai citizens should monitor local news, follow official announcements, and stay in contact with Thai embassies and consulates.
The Ministry recommends preparing essential documents and supplies and considering departure from high-risk areas while conditions allow. Thai nationals planning to travel to at-risk areas in the Middle East should postpone their trips until the situation stabilizes.
For emergency assistance, Thai nationals can contact the nearest Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General, or call the Consular Department Call Center at +66 2 572 8442, available 24 hours a day. Additional emergency hotlines are available through the Consular Protection Division.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring developments and remains ready to assist Thai nationals as needed. (NNT)
