PATTAYA, Thailand – Authorities conducted a coordinated safety inspection at Bali Hai Pier on March 27, aiming to ensure the safety of tourists and the readiness of passenger boat services.
Officers from Pattaya City enforcement teams, together with officials from the Pattaya Marine Department, marine police, Pattaya Police Station, and the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center, carried out on-site checks covering ferry operations and pier conditions.
The inspection focused on verifying the condition and safety readiness of passenger boats, as well as screening boat operators to ensure compliance with regulations. Officials also monitored the overall safety environment at the pier, a key transport hub for visitors traveling to nearby islands.
Operators and boat drivers were reminded to strictly follow maritime safety rules and regulations, as part of efforts to enhance safety standards and build confidence among tourists and local passengers using Pattaya’s marine transport services.
