PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet visited the beachfront venue of the Pattaya Music Festival 2026 on the evening of March 6 to greet vendors and inspect food stalls, emphasizing quality standards, fair pricing, and environmentally friendly practices during the popular month-long event.

The mayor was accompanied by city officials as they toured the festival area along Pattaya Beach. Authorities checked the quality of food and packaging used by vendors, while also speaking with stall operators about maintaining good service for tourists and local visitors.

The Pattaya Music Festival 2026, organized jointly by the Pattaya City and the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, will take place every Friday and Saturday throughout March, spanning four weekends at different locations across the Pattaya area.

The first week of the festival runs March 6–7 at Pattaya Beach, followed by the second week on March 13–14 at Jomtien Beach in front of The Now Hotel. The third week will be held March 20–21 on Koh Larn at Samae Beach, and the final week March 27–28 at Lan Pho Public Park in Naklua.

Mayor Poramet greets local vendors and inspect food stalls during the opening weekend of the Pattaya Music Festival 2026, part of the city’s initiative to support small businesses and promote sustainable tourism.

As part of the city’s economic support policy, Pattaya has also provided free vendor spaces at the festival. The initiative reflects the mayor’s policy of “opening prime locations and expanding selling areas for Pattaya residents,” allowing local entrepreneurs and vendors from surrounding areas to generate income and support the local economy.

This year’s festival also highlights the city’s “Green Music Festival” concept, encouraging vendors to reduce plastic use and switch to environmentally friendly packaging in line with the “Pattaya Go Green” policy.

During the visit, the mayor urged vendors to maintain high-quality food, reasonable prices, and fair treatment of customers, while also helping keep the festival area clean. The initiative aims to strengthen Pattaya’s image as an environmentally responsible tourist city and support sustainable tourism development.

Officials say the festival not only brings entertainment to residents and visitors but also helps stimulate economic activity across the city, benefiting local businesses and the broader tourism industry.
