Jomtien municipal officers inspect and advise business operators to remove tables, chairs, and other furniture placed on public sidewalks in Pattaya.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Jomtien municipal officers carried out on-site inspections to organize public areas and inform business operators who placed items encroaching on sidewalks.

Operators were asked to promptly remove and relocate their belongings back into their own premises to return sidewalks for public use and ensure safe and convenient pedestrian access.

Officials emphasized that sidewalks are public spaces and should not be used for commercial purposes. Repeat violations will be handled in accordance with the law.

Authorities also requested cooperation from all sectors to help maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in public spaces for residents and visitors.
