PATTAYA, Thailand – Valentine’s Day in Pattaya is expected to bring generally warm conditions, with light haze in the morning and a chance of isolated showers later in the day, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.

Forecasters say temperatures across upper Thailand are gradually rising as the influence of cooler air masses weakens. Moist southeasterly winds from the Gulf of Thailand are affecting the eastern region, including Chonburi, leading to partly cloudy skies and the possibility of brief thunderstorms in some areas.

In Pattaya, the weather on Valentine’s Day is likely to feel warm and humid—suitable for beach outings, seaside dining, and evening plans—though residents and visitors are advised to be mindful of passing showers. Light morning haze may slightly reduce visibility, particularly during early travel hours.

The department also notes moderate dust and haze accumulation in parts of upper Thailand due to weak air ventilation, while sea conditions in the Gulf of Thailand remain moderate. Boaters are advised to proceed with caution, especially in areas experiencing thunderstorms.

As couples and visitors head out to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Pattaya, authorities recommend staying hydrated, taking care amid changing weather conditions, and allowing flexibility for outdoor plans should brief tropical showers occur.
