PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Beach is set to transform into a vibrant open-air spectacle as the Pattaya International Kite Festival returns for its fifth consecutive year, promising a grand display that rivals previous editions.

This year’s festival will feature giant, colorful kites from 12 countries—Australia, Switzerland, China, France, Colombia, Germany, Italy, India, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, and Thailand—filling the sky with imaginative shapes and eye-catching designs.

Visitors can look forward to a full lineup of activities, including LED kite shows, a bustling Kite Market, and sport kite performances from Taiwan, alongside more than 50 popular street food vendors offering a wide variety of local favorites. The festival is designed as a relaxed, family-friendly seaside experience, blending visual spectacle with food and leisure on Pattaya Beach.

A major highlight this year is the appearance of the adorable “Snoopy and Peanuts” giant kite, measuring an impressive 12 meters, set to delight both children and adults alike.

The festival runs daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the official opening ceremony scheduled for 3:00 p.m., during the event period from February 25 to March 1. Organizers say the event aims to reinforce Pattaya’s image as a creative, international seaside destination and a must-visit spot during Thailand’s festive season.
