Four Thai firms head to WHX Dubai 2026 as National Innovation Awards open next month

Members of the National Innovation Award Subcommittee meet via video conference to review preparations for the 2026 awards and efforts to showcase Thai innovation on the global stage.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The National Innovation Award Subcommittee has reported progress in promoting Thai innovation on the international stage, with four Thai companies selected to participate in WHX Dubai 2026 (formerly Arab Health). The meeting also confirmed that applications for the National Innovation Awards 2026 will open in February 2026.



The meeting was held on January 30, 2026, organized by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) via video conference. The session was chaired by Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, with Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director of the National Innovation Agency, serving as a subcommittee member, along with the chairs of the five 2026 award categories. Public Relations Department Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem chaired the Innovation Communicator category.

The subcommittee reviewed the composition of working groups and evaluation criteria to ensure the awards are granted appropriately and deliver maximum public benefit. The meeting also discussed public relations plans for the upcoming application period to ensure wide and effective outreach.

During the session, progress was reported on supporting award-winning Thai enterprises in entering international innovation platforms. Four companies previously recognized by the National Innovation Awards have been selected to join WHX Dubai 2026, reflecting Thailand’s innovation potential. The selected companies are Bangkok Botanica Co., Ltd., Orthopeasia Co., Ltd., Perceptra Co., Ltd., and Novamedic Co., Ltd.

Applications for the 2026 National Innovation Awards will open on February 18, 2026, and the NIA will hold a formal press briefing on the same day.
