Ministry of Culture launches nationwide National Children’s Day 2026 activities with free cultural access

National Children’s Day 2026 will be marked across Thailand on January 10 with free entry to museums, cinemas, and learning centers, as the Ministry of Culture rolls out activities under the theme “Learn Well, Be Moral,” blending education, creativity, and cultural pride for children and youth nationwide.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Culture is organizing nationwide National Children’s Day 2026 activities under the theme Learn Well, Be Moral, offering free access to museums, cinemas, and learning centers while promoting ethics and pride in the nation, religion, and monarchy. Events will be held on January 10 at venues across Bangkok and the regions, combining enjoyment with learning for children and youth.



Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised said activities will take place at both central and regional levels through the ministry and its affiliated agencies. Programs are scheduled at major cultural and educational sites to support learning through art, history, science, and cultural heritage, while encouraging creativity and positive values.

At Government House, the Office of the Permanent Secretary will present honorary plaques to 154 children and youth recognized as outstanding role models under national award programs. In the same area, the Fine Arts Department will operate a Mobile Museum on Thai history and archaeology, alongside interactive Thai cultural games for young visitors.

Free film screenings will be offered through the Film Archive’s mobile cinema, featuring royal documentaries and children’s animated films. Other locations will host art exhibitions, cultural performances, creative workshops, moral learning activities, and short dramas presented by national artists, along with open learning spaces dedicated to Thai arts and wisdom.

Regional museums, historical parks, libraries, and learning centers nationwide will also open with free admission, offering educational programs, recreational activities, and prize draws for both Thai and international visitors. (NNT)
