Drivers traveling to Chonburi and Pattaya can use the Burapha Withi Expressway and Motorway Route 7 toll-free from December 30 to January 5.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Drivers heading to Chonburi this New Year holiday will be able to travel toll-free on key expressways and motorways connecting Bangkok to the Eastern Seaboard.

The Burapha Withi Expressway (Bangna–Chonburi) and Motorway Route 7, covering the Bangkok–Chonburi–Pattaya–Ban Chang route, will waive toll fees for seven days, from December 30, 2025, to January 5, 2026.

The initiative aims to ease traffic congestion and encourage safe, convenient travel for holidaymakers visiting Chonburi and Pattaya during the peak travel period. Authorities have also advised motorists to plan trips carefully, follow road safety rules, and stay alert for higher-than-usual traffic volumes during the extended holiday period.

This free-toll period is part of broader measures to support domestic tourism and facilitate smoother travel for residents and visitors heading to the Eastern provinces for the year-end celebrations.
