BANGKOK, Thailand – His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan visited Chulalongkorn University to receive honorary doctoral degrees at the University Auditorium.
His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Arts in International Development in recognition of His Majesty’s dedication to sustainable development and efforts to enhance the quality of life of the people.
Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck received an Honorary Doctor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology in recognition of her vision and contributions to well-being, equality, and inclusive social development. (NNT)
