The Chaipattana Foundation announces the establishment of the Disaster Rehabilitation Fund, created under the royal initiative of Her Majesty Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, to support preparedness and sustainable recovery for communities affected by natural disasters across Thailand.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Chaipattana Foundation has established the Disaster Rehabilitation Fund to enhance preparedness and support nationwide post-disaster recovery in response to recurring natural disasters in Thailand.

Established in 2024 under the royal initiative of Her Majesty Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the fund aims to provide timely assistance and rehabilitation for disaster-affected communities, helping them return to normal life as quickly as possible.

Rehabilitation has long been crucial to the Chaipattana Foundation’s mission, reflecting the Royal Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Foundation’s founder. The Chaipattana Foundation focuses not on immediate relief, but on developing livelihoods so people can live and earn effectively, as reflected in a royal address delivered on November 9, 1995.

The Disaster Rehabilitation Fund supports preparedness for all types of emergencies and assists affected communities through systematic, sustainable recovery measures.

The Foundation invites the public to support disaster rehabilitation efforts by donating to the fund. Contributions are eligible for double tax deductions under applicable regulations.

Donations can be made to the Disaster Rehabilitation Fund at Siam Commercial Bank, Chitralada Branch, Account No. 067-300-5308. For more information, please call 02 447 8585–8 ext. 103 or 109, or contact Line ID @chaipat19. (NNT)
