BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Culture has invited the public to attend the Red Cross Fair 2025 at Lumphini Park in Bangkok under the theme “United Hearts in Gratitude for the Compassion of the President of the Thai Red Cross Society.” The fair features product booths operated by businesses from across the country, along with cultural and artistic performances presented in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised recently visited the main stage of the fair, along with Permanent Secretary for Culture Prasop Riang-Ngern and senior ministry officials, to view the performances. The trip, conducted on December 18, was also attended by Yupha Taweewattanakitborvon, secretary-general of the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as civil servants and members of the public.
The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with affiliated agencies, educational institutions, and cultural networks, organized performances to express gratitude for royal benevolence and to honor the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The program presented both traditional and creative arts that support the continuation of Thailand’s intangible cultural heritage.
Performances on the day included a khon masked dance drama from the Ramakien epic by students from Princess Sirindhorn’s College and Phrapathom Witthayalai 2 School, as well as a special tribute performance dedicated to the Queen Mother.
The public is invited to attend the Red Cross Fair 2025 at Lumphini Park through December 21 to enjoy cultural performances, take part in activities, and support the preservation of Thai arts and culture. (NNT)
