Tourism returns to Southern Thailand as TAT supports cleanup efforts and travel monitoring — from Chaweng Beach in Ko Samui to Phromthep Cape in Phuket.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Southern Thailand Update – 1 December 2025. Travel conditions are improving across the South, with most destinations open and transport services resuming. TAT is supporting travellers through Tourism Crisis Monitoring Centre and joined the Big Cleaning operation in Hat Yai to help speed up recovery efforts.
