PATTAYA, Thailand – Residents and visitors in Pattaya can expect a cool and slightly foggy morning today, with temperatures gradually rising throughout the day. The Meteorological Department reports that the city and surrounding areas will experience mild winter weather, typical for this season.

The early hours will see light fog and chilly winds, with the minimum temperature around 19–20°C, while daytime highs are expected to reach 30–32°C. Northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 10–20 km/h, providing a refreshing, if brisk, breeze along the coast.

The southern region of Thailand, including the Gulf of Thailand near Pattaya, is experiencing generally dry conditions, although mariners are advised to be cautious of occasional waves reaching 1–2 meters, particularly in areas with isolated thunderstorms.

Officials also advise residents and visitors to take care of their health amid the seasonal temperature fluctuations and remain alert for fire hazards due to dry conditions.

Pattaya’s pleasant winter weather makes it an ideal time for outdoor activities, including beach walks, sightseeing, and early-morning exercise—just be sure to bring a light jacket for the cooler start to the day.
