
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), through its Los Angeles Office, hosted the “Thailand x HBO — White Lotus Appreciation Dinner” to thank the production team of the internationally acclaimed series The White Lotus Season 3 for choosing Thailand as its primary filming location and to reaffirm the successful collaboration between TAT and HBO.
The dinner was attended by key HBO executives, including Mr. Jay Roewe, Senior Vice President for Production, Global Incentives & Production Planning; Ms. Dhirana Guerrero, Coordinator for Production and Global Incentives; and Mr. Chris Jarvis, Vice President for Legal Affairs. The event also welcomed Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles, and his spouse, as well as representatives from TAT offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
The gathering was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the shared commitment between Thailand’s tourism sector and international film partners. During the event, Mr. Roewe praised TAT for its strong cooperation throughout the production process, noting that the collaboration has fostered a meaningful and enduring relationship with Thailand. He expressed confidence that this positive partnership would continue to grow across various areas in the future.
The event also provided a key opportunity for HBO and TAT to discuss future cooperation to further showcase Thailand as an international filming destination and advance the country’s goal of becoming a sustainable global film tourism hub. (NNT)
