BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Culture, led by Minister Sabeeda Thaised, is preparing to launch CPOT Pop-Up Stores at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports to promote Thai cultural products to both international visitors and domestic travelers. The effort is expected to help elevate traditional Thai crafts and community-made goods by connecting them with global audiences and expanding market access for local producers.

Minister Sabeeda explained that the ministry has laid out an operational plan running from November 2025 to September 2026 to support the growth of CPOT (Cultural Product of Thailand) goods. This includes enhancing brand identity, expanding e-commerce channels, developing traditional crafts like basketry, and providing training for entrepreneurs. The plan also involves preparing producers to participate in the Easy E-Receipt 2.0 tax scheme and working with national artists and designers to modernize product offerings.

The Ministry of Culture is also preparing to officially debut the CPOT brand through public events, product showcases, and workshops at major retail centers. In parallel, the ministry is working with private retailers and platforms to bring CPOT products to wider markets, both at home and abroad.

To mark the New Year 2026, the ministry is producing a CPOT Catalog, featuring a curated selection of cultural items to be distributed as seasonal gifts to government agencies, corporations, and embassies. The catalog will showcase Thai creativity and craftsmanship, promoting cultural identity through locally made products.

Additionally, the ministry plans to integrate CPOT products into the second phase of the government’s “Half-Half” co-payment scheme to stimulate domestic demand and support community economies. (NNT)
