Pattaya invites festival-goers to wear traditional Thai attire and dress in subdued tones to honor the King during the “Light of Eternal Loyalty” fireworks display.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The city of Pattaya is inviting both Thai and foreign visitors to join the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2024 by dressing in elegant Thai traditional attire in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, under the theme “The Light of Eternal Loyalty.”

Organizers encourage attendees to wear one of the eight styles of royal Thai costumes with a black ribbon to symbolize mourning and loyalty. Participants are also asked to dress modestly, avoiding flashy or overly bright colors to maintain a respectful atmosphere throughout the event.

This year’s festival will open with a special fireworks display titled “The Light of Eternal Loyalty”, honoring the enduring love and devotion to the Thai monarchy. The main program will then feature stunning fireworks performances from five participating countries: Philippines, Malaysia, Germany, Finland, and England

The event, one of Thailand’s most spectacular annual celebrations, will illuminate Pattaya Beach with color, culture, and unity — blending heartfelt tribute with world-class artistry.
