The Department of Rural Roads will illuminate Bhumibol Bridge 1 and 2 on October 13 to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, celebrating his enduring legacy of compassion, unity, and national progress.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) will illuminate Bhumibol Bridge 1 and Bhumibol Bridge 2 from 7 PM to midnight on October 13, to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on Nawamindra Maharaj Day.

The lighting display pays tribute to His Majesty’s boundless compassion and lifelong dedication to improving the lives of the Thai people. Both bridges were built under His Majesty’s royal initiative, symbolizing his vision of unity and progress for the nation.

The DRR invites the public to admire the spectacular night views of the illuminated bridges, which not only celebrate the King’s enduring legacy but also support local tourism and community pride.
