It will serve as a major platform to showcase Thailand’s status as the world’s leading Muay Thai destination.
The convention forms part of the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sport Year 2025” campaign under the theme “Muay Thai to the World.” It embodies Thailand’s vision of combining the nation’s cultural roots and martial arts heritage to offer unique sports tourism experiences, solidifying the country’s role as the Combat Sport Hub of the region.
The WBC has officially invited the Thai government to co-host the event, aiming to promote sports tourism and elevate Muay Thai as a cherished cultural heritage that brings global recognition and economic opportunities to Thailand. (NNT)
