A very entertaining morning of music at the Pattaya City Expats Club

Dhudz begins to sing as Coco Zhu and Mary Sanvictores wait to join in. With Tikoy on keyboard, they provided a very entertaining morning of fun and enjoyment to the PCEC.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) was treated to a memorable morning of music and camaraderie on Wednesday, October 1, as three talented singers took the stage for to entertain their audience. The event also included a birthday tribute for Coco. The atmosphere was informal and friendly, with audience participation encouraged and many joined in dancing and sometimes singing along.

The lineup featured Coco Zhu, who left a legal career to pursue her passion for singing; Mary Sanvictores, a powerhouse vocalist from the Philippines and winner of Tina Turner competitions; and Dhudz, whose journey to music involved defying family expectations. Keyboardist Tikoy also contributed to the lively performances. Each artist brought their own background and style, and their mutual respect and encouragement were evident throughout the show.



They delighted the audience with a wide range of genres and languages, from opera and pop to blues and famous hits. The event was not just about music, it also featured candid discussions about cultural differences, such as restrictions on music in China, and personal anecdotes about life as musicians. The openness and humor shared by the performers added depth to the event, making it a space for sharing perspectives as well as enjoying great music.

Standout performances included emotional renditions of “I Will Always Love You” as an encore, and heartfelt birthday wishes for Coco. The performers expressed gratitude for the attentive audience and the supportive atmosphere. As the event ended, certificates of appreciation were presented to the artists, and the audience joined in singing “Happy Birthday” to Coco.


After the presentation, MC Ren Lexander brought everyone up to date on upcoming events. This was followed by the Open Forum where questions are asked and comments made about Expat living in Thailand.
