BANGKOK, Thailand – Minister of Defense General Nattaphon Narkphanit has instructed the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters to expedite the construction of a fence along the Thai-Cambodian border.
The Minister specified that the construction will proceed in areas where the border demarcation is clear and undisputed. He stated that the fence is a concrete measure intended to enhance the protection of national sovereignty and ensure the safety and security of Thai citizens living along the border.
The military has been tasked with coordinating with all relevant agencies to move forward with the project swiftly. (NNT)
