
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand Post, in collaboration with Singapore Post, has released a new collection of commemorative stamps to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore, celebrating the strong and enduring bond between the two nations.
The commemorative set, created using a watercolor technique, features historically significant pieces of architecture to represent the shared culture of the two nations.
The Thailand stamp depicts the Tha Chang Old Town buildings on the bank of the Chao Phraya River that were once a major trading hub in Bangkok.
The Singapore stamp features Temple Street, a vibrant and historic street in Chinatown that showcases the rich cultural heritage and a blend of traditional and modern architecture.
The commemorative stamps are available for purchase at the Thai Stamp Museum, Thai Post Offices around the country, and via the website www.thailandpost.co.th, as well as the “ThailandPostMart” mobile application. (PRD)
