Thailand officially selected to host Gastech 2026, major global energy event

The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) will welcome over 50,000 participants from 150 countries for Gastech 2026, showcasing Thailand’s leadership in sustainable energy and MICE capabilities while generating an estimated €385 million economic impact.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has been officially announced as the host nation for Gastech 2026, one of the world’s largest and most influential energy exhibitions and conferences. The announcement was made during Gastech 2025 in Milan, where the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and international stakeholders, showcased the country’s readiness to host the event from 15–18 September 2026 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

Gastech 2026 is expected to draw over 50,000 participants from 150 countries, including energy ministers, policymakers, and executives from more than 1,000 global energy companies. The event is projected to generate an economic impact of approximately €385 million, create 4,700 jobs, and reinforce Thailand’s position as a key venue for international business, investment, and innovation in the energy sector.
