
PATTAYA, Thailand – Deputy Mayor Krisana Boonsawad presided over a preparation meeting for the 3rd Pattaya Film Festival 2025. The meeting, held at Pattaya City Hall, brought together the Mayor’s assistant secretaries, city council members, heads of government departments, and related agencies.
The Pattaya Film Festival 2025 will take place from August 28–30, 2025, across Pattaya City, under the framework of developing Pattaya as a UNESCO Creative City of Film. The festival aims to foster awareness, participation, and collaboration among residents, youth, communities, and industry partners while also promoting Pattaya’s international profile as a hub for creative film culture.
The program includes:
-Screenings of acclaimed films from around the world in leading Pattaya cinemas.
-Outdoor screenings at four key venues: Chalermphrakiat Public Park in Naklua, Pattaya Central Beach, Pattaya City School 4 (Wat Nong Yai), and Wat Mai Hat Krathing Thong.
-A series of seminars and symposiums, including the Pattaya Film Festival International Symposium with speakers from diverse sectors.
-Exhibitions on film and creative cities, community fairs, and cultural showcases.
-Activities to promote film production opportunities in Pattaya.
The opening ceremony will be held on August 28, 2025, at Chalermphrakiat Public Park, Naklua. A press conference will also be hosted today (August 19, 2025) at 5:00 PM at the Bua Sawan Room, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G.
