BANGKOK, Thailand – The Constitutional Court has granted Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra an extension to July 31st to submit her statement regarding a leaked audio clip conversation.

Prime Minister’s Secretary-General Dr. Prommin Lertsuriydet confirmed that preparations for the statement are underway, clarifying that no new evidence will be submitted. He stated the submission will focus on explaining the facts and affirming the Prime Minister’s sincere intention to resolve the conflict peacefully.



Dr. Prommin added that as the head of government, the Prime Minister has consulted closely with the military and other relevant agencies. He stressed that the person she contacted was not a government representative, but part of her effort to find a peaceful resolution while strictly adhering to foreign affairs protocols.
