BANGKOK, Thailand – The Program Management Unit for Competitiveness Enhancement (PMUC) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director from July 3 to 21, 2025. Operating under the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), PMUC supports Thailand’s economic development by managing public funding for research and innovation across the manufacturing and service sectors.
The executive director will be responsible for overseeing PMUC’s operations, executing tasks assigned by NXPO and the PMUC Management Committee, and ensuring that all activities align with the organization’s strategic direction. The role requires leadership in funding allocation, program management, and interagency coordination to advance innovation and technological progress.
PMUC funds a wide range of projects involving technology transfer, market creation for innovation, commercialization of research outcomes, and the development of innovation platforms. It also supports the enhancement of laboratory infrastructure for quality assurance and the broader use of technology in industry.
The agency’s programs prioritize collaboration and co-investment with end-users, including small and medium-sized enterprises and industrial sectors. These partnerships promote practical applications and real-world impact from the supported projects.
