Qatar Airways sponsor ticket for Thai student to attend business
forum in Argentina
H.E. Felipe Frydman, the Argentine Ambassador to
Thailand and Ms. Chanipa Parnsingha, Qatar Airways’ Sales Manager
recently donated one round-trip economy-class ticket to Chulalongkorn
student Praj Kiatpongsan, shown here being congratulated by Assoc Prof
Dr Yubol Benjarongkij, Dean of Communication Arts Faculty, Chulalongkorn
University.
Praj, who has been selected as one of the 100 finest
students from all over the world, will attend the South America Business
Forum set to take place during August 6-8, 2010. He was sponsored by
Qatar Airways to fly from Bangkok to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The
contribution is part of the airline’s Corporate Social Responsibility
campaign.

The Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link will open for
commercial operation on August 23, connecting commuters between the airport
and the City Air Terminal at Makkasan Station in Bangkok city center, where
flight and luggage check-in services will be available.
The link will operate daily from 0600 to 0100 with two
train systems, each departing every 15 minutes. Travelling time on the
Express Line will take 15 minutes while on the City Line will be less than
30 minutes.
The fare structure is not available at press time.
