Marliese Fritz (center), past president of the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard celebrated her 60th birthday at the Swiss Paradise Restaurant. Many friends and well wishers attended the fun-filled event. A splendid chocolate birthday cake was brought out and enjoyed by all, whilst there was plenty of food and beverages to serve everyone and the music had people’s feet tapping.


 

Dusit Thani Pattaya, led by general manager Chatchawal Supachayanont (front, 5th from left), recently hosted a welcome cocktail at The Bay Restaurant for leading golf travel agents and media representatives from Denmark and Sweden. Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Stockholm Office, headed by Manit Boonchim (front, 7th from left), hosted the familiarization trip to Pattaya designed to promote Thailand as a golfing destination for Scandinavian people.


 

Sutham Phanthusak (center), member of the National Executive Scout Board, along with Boonrat Wongyai, general secretary of the Boy Scouts of Thailand, jointly host dinner at Manhattans Steakhouse to welcome the top executive board of the World Scout committee from the USA, Australia, Japan and Sweden during their unofficial meeting in Thailand.


The Pattaya General Manager’s Dinner was held recently in the Latitude Lounge kitchen at Sheraton Pattaya Resort, hosted by Sheraton GM David Cuddon (seated center). The dinner theme required all local GMs to practice their cooking skills and to say farewell to Cuddon who will assume the GM position at the Laguna Resort & Spa in Bali. Joining the fun were (front row, left to right) Morrakot, Bella Villa; Bundarik Kusolvitya, City Sriracha; David Cuddon; Chatchawal Suphachayanont, Dusit Resort; Rungthip Suksrikarn, Sun Beam; (back row left to right) Natthasith, Mountain Beach; Stephan Bringer, Woodland’s; Dominik Stamm, Amari Orchid; Marco Seiler, Amari Nova Suite; Wannaporn, Long Beach; Philippe Delaloye, Novotel Rayong; Werner Senft, Cholchan; and Arnaud Rouchon, Mercure Chonburi. Rumour has it the dinner was delicious and there were no calls to the fire department.


David and Lek Williamson and their children Fon, Fah and Fun, and partners Fred and Jubjang May and Bob and Ying Neylon, welcome everyone to their newly opened Fatboy’s Diner at the Avenue shopping complex, Pattaya.
