Announcement

Pattaya can justly claim to be a hasher’s paradise, with no less than two regular runs, and the largest weekly has in Asia. The increase in runners, the birth of a new hash is a natural progression and so, The Pattaya Jungle Hash will hold its inaugural run this Sunday, May 11th. Running on Sundays should allow hashers not available during the week a chance to explore the countryside around Pattaya. Mismanagement and foundation skills provided by Kai ‘Mobile’ Bokeloh - ex Hannover Hash; Paul ‘Lord Lucan’ Eldered - ex Lagos Ikeja Hash; Richard ‘Flying Sheep Shagger’ - Pattaya Monday Hash and Ian ‘Baby’s Arm’ Frost - ex Melbourne Hash. Clubs

Pattaya City Expats Club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Beans, Beach Road North Pattaya. Breakfast menu starts at 9.30 a.m. Full breakfast, Thai dishes, or just tea/coffee. Events

The German Chamber of Commerce will be networking again at their "Stammtisch" at the Moon River Pub, Thai Garden Resort, May 9th from 6.30 p.m. Since there are always a lot of Thai guests and businessmen, the main language spoken there is English, therefore all nationalities are welcome to join.

The Tahitian Queen 2 (Soi B.J., Walking Street - South Pattaya) will be holding their 5th Anniversary Party on the 10th of May from 8 p.m. Free pizza all night, specials on kamikazes (15 for each horn pull!), and a darts competition at midnight. There will be also some very nice prizes for anyone who attended the opening party in May, 1998. Everyone is welcome!

The Thailand Equestrian Federation’s Hermes President’s Cup 2003 finishes this weekend May 11th, at the Horseshoe Point Resort and Country Club. The tournament is one of the main events the Thailand Equestrian Federation has organized this year, along with the 2003 FEI World Jumping Challenge that attracts many athletes.

Thailand’s Hot Dog Eating Championship II! Dairy Queen, in conjunction with Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum Pattaya and Northwest Airlines, extend an open invitation to all Thai nationals 20 years and above to participate in the 2nd Annual Thailand’s Hot Dog Eating Championship on Saturday, May 31st at the Royal Garden Plaza, Pattaya starting at 11.30 a.m. This year’s winner will receive a cash prize and other prizes worth more than 100,000 baht and will be the second Thai to represent Thailand in the World Hot Eating Contest held annually on the 4th of July in New York City.
