Large crowds celebrate romantic Loy Krathong

Hundreds of khomloys float up into the night sky from Pattaya Beach, as over 100,000 tourists and residents celebrate Loy Krathong, sending all their worries soaring away on the most romantic holiday on the Thai calendar. Despite what international media might be proclaiming, Pattaya has not been inundated with flood waters and remains a great holiday spot.

City, regional, tourist police launch joint patrols to boost security

Chonburi, Pattaya and Tourist police have launched joint patrols and checkpoints to bring more security to a city now playing guardian to thousands of flood evacuees.

Chonburi groups join to create bacteria balls

The Royal Thai Navy and three Chonburi groups have joined forces to produce a million microorganism balls Bangkok residents can use to try and disinfect at least a bit of the putrid flood water now stagnating in the capital. Continued
