Eastern Seaboard celebrates HM the Queen’s 79th birthday
The largest
local celebrations on Mother’s Day are on the
streets where people turn out in huge numbers for
parades along Pattaya’s beachfront and in Najomtien.
However, celebrations were held throughout the
Eastern Seaboard to humbly wish HM the Queen a most
happy birthday.
The Royal Thai Navy cooperated with the Princess Pa
Foundation to deliver first aid supplies and food to more than 1,500 victims
of flooding in Sukhothai and Nan.
July Consumer Confidence Index hits record high in 64 months: UTCC
Thailand’s Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) in July rose to 84.1 from 81.7 in
the previous month, marking the third consecutive month on the rise and its
highest level in 64 months, according to a survey by the Economic and
Business Forecasting Center of the University of the Thai Chamber of
Commerce (UTCC).
Louis Fassbind commemorated at annual charity dinner
Louis Fassbind, also known as ‘Mr. Pattaya’ was
remembered on the 13 SIZE="1">th anniversary of his passing at a
fund raising dinner held at Linda’s Restaurant on August 13, which was
attended by almost 100 guests from various segments of the Pattaya
community.
The Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive is all about
helping needy children getting shelter free from abuse; educational
opportunities through scholarships; and, for the disabled, specialized
