Events
The Jesters Annual Charity Fair will take place at
the Diana Garden Resort & Driving Range on Sunday Sept. 12 with live
performances by four Thai GMM Grammy listed artists headlining the event.
There will also be the traditional competitions for the kids, bouncy
castles, shows and entertainment courtesy of local schools, clowns, a circus
workshop, face painting, arts and crafts, Thai and European food stalls and
the beer stall which sells beer donated by local businesses. All the
proceeds go to aid the Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive. For more details

The Jesters Care for Kids Annual Party Night will
take place on Saturday September 18 at Jameson’s Irish Pub in
Pattaya, starting from 6 p.m. onwards. Besides the traditional grand charity
auction with many great items up for grabs, there will also be a grand
raffle prize drawing and entertainment in between. All 40 items in the

The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) will be
holding their annual Holiday Bazaar at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort Pattaya
on Saturday, October 2. This event gives PILC members and the public a
chance to meet up, either sell or buy an array of goods from silverware, to
jewelry, to local handicrafts, to food and wine, and to help the PILC
collect money to support the local community. Vendors and sponsors are

Mermaids Dive Center is holding their annual
International Clean Up Day at Sak Island on Saturday 25th September 2010. To

Clubs and Associations
The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC)
will be on Sunday, Sept. 5. Everyone is warmly welcome. The Club meets every
Sunday morning at The Tavern by the Sea (formerly Henry J. Bean’s) located
on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The
program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from
9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Each week the PCEC usually has an interesting speaker to
talk on various subjects of interest in an informal setting. This week’s
scheduled speaker will be Prem Busarakamwongs from Fairtex Sports and
Racquet Club. He will be describing their facilities and activities. This
program is followed by the ever lively and often humorous Open Forum where
questions are asked and answers given about living in Pattaya as well as an
update on events in and around Pattaya. A full report appears each week in

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand
have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the
telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates
24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate
community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will
provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the
phone. All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of

The French speaking Rotary Club Pattaya Marina
meets every Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Amari Resort and Tower on Pattaya

The RLC (Rayong Ladies Circle), which operates

The Pattaya Players amateur dramatics society
invites you to attend their newest murder mystery dinner production
entitled, “Murder at Rutherford House” at Indian By Nature Restaurant in
Jomtien on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11. The show runs
only two nights and tickets must be purchased in advance as seating is
