Tropical storm causes
widespread flooding in city

A tour bus moves slowly through the knee-high water on Pattaya Second Road after
a torrential rain storm on Monday night caused flash floods and power cuts
across the city.

Chonburi orders owner of grounded, leaking boat to salvage vessel

The Chonburi Water Transportation Department has ordered the
owner of a gas-leaking ship that ran aground in Sriracha earlier this month to
immediately remove the vessel from the Ao Udom shoreline.

at Asian Optimist Championships

Although there was little doubt that the Singapore
team, taking five of the first 10 places in the 2010 IODA Asian
Championship, raced off the Royal Varuna Yacht Club recently, was the
dominant entry, the team from the Lion City did face some tough
competition.
