Modus Group showcases Beachfront Condo & Al Fresco Resort Hotel
Vimolrat Singnikorn
Art and reasonable prices are the focus of a new 5.5-rai hotel and
condominium development on Wong Amat Beach.

president/architect Thossaporn Namthep open the Modus Beachfront Condominium and
Al Fresco Resort Hotel project at the gala party on Saturday, January 30.
The Modus Group showed off its 2 billion baht Beachfront Condominium and Al
Fresco Resort Hotel project at a gala party Jan. 30 at the development’s model
office.
Designed by Thossaporn Namthep, the architect behind Jomtien Beach’s Chateau
Dale development, the Modus Group’s property combines modern and antique styles
and uses quality artwork as accents. The development will be spread out over
four buildings with completion expected in 2012.

Sitting at the front of the development will be the Al Fresco Hotel, whose
website is advertising that rates will start at only 599 baht per day,
confirming the planners’ contentions that the property will be reasonably
priced. Project Director Takorn Sakultiew noted, however, that despite the
budget price, it will still offer a luxury ambience.
The condominiums will offer a full slate of features, including swimming pool,
fitness center, sauna, steam room and European restaurant.

Ocean Portofino
adds budget, events to sell last 100 units
Sawittree Namwiwatsuk
Ocean Property Co., Ltd. will spend another 30 million baht to market
the 100 units still unsold in its Ocean Portofino Condominium project in Jomtien
Beach.
The
Ocean Portofino Condominium Pattaya Project
Spokeswoman Supatra Angkawinitwong said construction on the Ocean Marina
development has been completed and is ready for residents to move in. While she
said the 268-unit project has seen strong sales of about 62 percent, 100 units
worth up to 900 million baht remain on the market.
As an extra incentive to find buyers, the company has set up a fully-furnished
unit in the 36-story building to allow potential buyers to try living in the
development before deciding to buy. It also has planned the “Ocean Marine Boat
Show 2010” to attract yachting enthusiasts, who are the condominium’s target
market. The Portofino’s Premium Condominium is the only one in the area with a
yacht anchored directly outside the property.
Furthermore, the company has also planned to expand the Marina for mooring to
allow 430 sail boats, an increase of 100 vessels.
Ocean Portofino Condominium is located on 2.5 rai at the 20-rai marina. It is
built in an Asian contemporary design with all units having balconies and access
to a swimming pool, fitness center, playground, and 24-hour security. Prices
begin at 92,000 baht per square meter.
