The Dragon Bike Party will take
place on October 17 at Mae Rumphung Beach, Taphong, between Rayong and Ban
Phe. The party starts at 6.00 p.m. and goes till late and will feature a
variety of stalls for biking gear, Thai and BBQ food, San Miguel beer and
liquor. Entertainment will include live music on stage, a dance show and a
magic show. There is no registration fee – the party is free and the funds
raised and charitable donations will go towards Panyanugool School for the
deaf and disabled in Rayong.
The next combined Eastern Seaboard
Oktoberfest Networking of the German and British Chambers of Commerce
takes place on the upper-level of the Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya (The Mezz) on
Thursday, October 22 from 17:45 - 20.45. There will be a food buffet, with
spit roast of pig, deep fried chicken, lasagna, many goodies and soft

Pattaya Players will once again
be hosting their annual Horseshoe Point Halloween extravaganza on Saturday,
October 31, 2009, this year entitled Spooks, Spirits and Specters.
Unsuspecting spectators will be taken on a 30 minute guided walking tour of
Horseshoe Point’s breathtaking Three Kingdoms Park, highlighting ghost
stories from all around the world. In addition to the Ghost Tour there will
be many activities, rides and games for children and adults of all ages to
enjoy. Fair-style food and drinks will be on sale all night long. Taking
place from 6 p.m. onwards, tickets will be sold on the night of the event
only. The admission price will be 200 baht per person and will come with 10

The next Pattaya City Expats Club
(PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Oct. 18 and everyone is warmly welcome
to attend. The club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s
Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid
Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast
available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC has an interesting
speaker to talk on various subjects of interest in an informal setting. The
third Sunday of the month the Club usually has a topic about health and
medicine. Dr. Benjaporn Nitinavakarn, MD, from Bangkok Hospital Pattaya
will be speaking about Imaging Vascular Screening. Nurses from the hospital
will be available for free blood pressure checks. This will be followed by
the ever-lively and often humorous Open Forum and an update on the
