City donates ambulance
to Sawang Boriboon
Pattaya City has donated an ambulance to the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan
Foundation, with the handover ceremony conducted on March 25 at the King Taksin
Monument outside Pattaya City Hall.
Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn and Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh presented the
1.9 million baht vehicle to Prasit Thongtitcharoen, who is deputy head of Sawang
Boriboon in Pattaya.
This is the second occasion the city has donated an ambulance, aware of the need
to have an efficient fleet of vehicles ready for any emergency concerning

Easter celebrated at St Nikolaus
More than 200 Thai and foreign Christians gathered at St Nikolaus
Church on March 22 to celebrate Easter, a time of the year when Christians
the world over gather in observance of their beliefs that Jesus arose from
the dead.The celebrations began with a mass on Maundy Thursday. Good Friday also saw
fully occupied pews at 3 pm, the assumed time when Jesus died, as well as at
the 6 pm mass.
