Announcements

Suvarnabhumi Airport - in the lead up to its official opening in September, several talks on the topic are planned for the coming week as follows:

2nd July at 10.30 am: A speech by Mr. Hans-Joachim Klohs about the transfer from Don Muang to Suvarnabhumi Airport at the Pattaya City Expats Club, Henry J. Beans.

3rd July at 7 pm: Dr. Stephen Buttling talks about the history of the construction of the airport at the Green Tree Pub

4th July at 7 pm: Horst Schumm talks about the construction of the airport in German language - rooftop restaurant, Markland Hotel

Mid July - exclusive for Rotary Clubs and Lions Clubs – a speech by Mr. Trautmann, CEO of Munich Airport about airport transfer, and Mr. Stephen Buttling about the construction of the new airport. Date and venue will be announced shortly.

July 2nd - The Pattaya City Expats Club will meet to hear more about the new airport and the proposed opening date. This Sunday is also the Annual General Meeting of the Club and voting for the new members of the Board. Bring your Discount Cards with you to be eligible to vote. All meetings start at 10.30 am at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. Buffet Breakfast available from 9.30. The Club exists for Expats To Help Expats and every week in the Open Forum everyone has the opportunity to ask questions or offer advice and information which will help Expats legally and happily in the Land of Smiles.
