The Pattaya International Ladies Club will hold their January coffee morning at Henry J. Bean’s, in the Amari Hotel on Beach Road on Tuesday January 17 from 10.30 a.m. till midday. All members, guests and visitors welcome.
The BCCT is seeking a sponsor for the Annual General Meeting Luncheon on Thursday 26th January. Guest speaker: H.E. David Fall, British Ambassador, at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Ballroom. The fee for exclusive sponsorship of this event is THB 50,000 plus VAT. To ensure fairness in the election, the sponsoring company should not be standing for the 2006 BCCT board of directors. The Pattaya City Expats Club meeting will be on Sunday January 15 and the main speaker will be Pravit Pukasem, the vice-president of Bangkok Bank, and manager of the Bangkok Bank on 2nd Road. Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) E.S. Hamilton Post 9876 officially meets at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Hogsbreath Saloon, Soi Batman, off Sukhumvit Road about 200 meters north of Pattaya Tai Road. Read-a-Thon, a children’s reading competition, will be held celebrating International Children’s Day at the North Star Library. Starts January 14 and continues until February 25.
