Announcements
Movie Extras needed for Hollywood
major motion picture being filmed Auditions being held on October 8 and 9
at “The Bowling Green” in the clubhouse on Soi Excite from 1 p.m. to 6
p.m. The accepted applicants (60 farang males; white and black, age 17 to 36
years old or look young) will receive 1,500 baht per day (1,350 baht per day
after tax). Food and transportation provided to and from Pattaya to Sattahip
Naval Base. Most candidates will only work for one day on October 18. Only 15
extras will be needed for filming on October 19. The day will be a long one,
buses will leave Pattaya at around 6 a.m. and will return at around 8 p.m.

The Pattaya International Ladies Club will host their
annual Holiday Bazaar at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort on October 8.
PILC says, “All the stalls have now been sold out, and with many new vendors
this year, as well as familiar faces from previous years, there should be a
wide range of goods for anyone looking for unusual Christmas gifts and

I-TIM, the International Hotel and Tourism Industry
Management School, is now accepting applications for the two-year diploma
in Hotel and Tourism Management commencing in January 2006. Minimum entry
level is M.6 or high school. All nationalities welcome. Each year includes a
five month internship with placement available in all tourist destinations
including Pattaya. Extended salaried internships available overseas in the

Clubs
The speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting
on Sunday October 9 will be a representative from Garmin Street Pilot 2160. A
portable GPS system for cars and motorbikes. The system works in 5 languages
with Thai being added in the next month. Maps of USA, Canada, England and most
of Europe and all the latest up-to-date maps of Thailand are available.
Updated every 6 months. Complete new map system every year. Should be
interesting to help get around in unknown places and foreign territory. As
always everyone is welcome to attend, no charge, and there is a warm welcome
for anyone just visiting Pattaya or recently moved here. The meeting starts at
10.30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9.30 a.m. There is a chance
to ask questions or share helpful information during the Open Forum time and
meet and chat with other expats before and after the meeting. Meetings held in
Henry J. Bean’s in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort, North
Pattaya Beach Road.
The Pattaya Gay Festival will be holding its next
dinner at Casa Pascal Restaurant off Pattaya Second Road opposite Royal Garden

HEARTT2000 to help Dr. Philippe in his work to provide life-saving drugs to
