Announcements
Representatives of welfare and/or charity groups are
invited to a joint meeting to be organized by the Pattaya International
Ladies Club (PILC) Welfare Team, in order to discuss common goals and
present a united front for welfare in and around the Pattaya and Rayong areas.
The meeting will be held on Monday May 9 at 7 p.m. at the North Star
Library on Sukhumvit Rd, next door to the Redemptorist Centre. Light

Clubs
Pattaya International Ladies Club will hold their May
luncheon on Tuesday May 3 at the Rose Garden Room in the Pattaya

The meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club on
Sunday May 1st will have as its main speaker board member Thor Halland who
will talk about more of the religious beliefs contained in Buddhist
philosophy. The meetings are informal and open to everyone and there is always
opportunity in the open forum for anyone to ask questions or share
information, which will help foreigners to live safely and legally in
Thailand. Meetings start at 10.30 with a buffet breakfast available from 9.30.
Plenty of opportunity to meet fellow foreigners and make new friends at the
same time as gaining any new or interesting information about what is

The Dutch Expats Club Pattaya (NVP) meets the last

will resound at the Art Café Pattaya. Then the original

Exhibitions
A photographic exhibition by professional
photographer Pete Wicker will open at the White Night Restaurant on Soi
VC, just off Sunee Plaza in South Pattaya on Wednesday May 4, at 8 p.m. Pete
will be on hand that evening to personally meet collectors. The photographs
show slices of life in both Thailand and overseas - many from a whimsical
point of view - and will be on sale. Several of the photographs were taken at
the Pattaya Orphanage and 100% of sales of these pictures will be donated
directly to the orphanage.
