Clubs

The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) will host their April luncheon at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club on Tuesday April 5 from 10.30 a.m. till 2 p.m. The theme for the luncheon will focus on the Songkran festival. This Sunday, April 3 the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting will have as its special guest Dr. Somchai from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital to explain about the SuperSight surgery program now available at the Eye Center at the Hospital. This is a new refractive surgery procedure capable of reducing or even eliminating the need for bifocals and reading glasses for certain categories of patients. Basically anyone who has high far sight (over+3.00 and can not see up close might benefit from this SuperSight surgery. Dr. Somchai is one of the few eye surgeons in the country who is experienced and qualified in this procedure. The meeting is held at Henry J. Bean’s in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort and starts at 10.30 a.m. Buffet breakfast is available from 9.30 a.m. The meetings are free and open to anyone to attend. Big Mama’s Restaurant, Ban Amphur celebrates their grand opening on April 5. The Grapevine Bar, Restaurant & Beer serves breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. For dinner, the tacos, pizza, and lasagna are especially popular. Pattaya City will be hosting a special Clean Food, Good Taste Food Festival at South Pattaya’s Bali Hai Pier area on April 1 and 2.
