Announcements

Garden International School Rayong Campus invites you to join the Swim For Tsunami Victims (Relay Style) at the Eastern Star Pool on Saturday January 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds to go to helping Thai communities rebuild their lives in the South of Thailand. Swim as many or as few lengths as you like. Target for the day 48 lengths (one tenth of the distance from Khao Lak to Phuket). Floats/waistbands available for those that need them. Clubs

Pattaya City Expats Club meets at Henry J. Beans at the Amari Orchid Resort on North Beach Road every Sunday. The informal meeting includes presentation by a visiting speaker, information about up-coming events in and around Pattaya and an “Open Forum” session which gives everyone the opportunity to ask questions, seek information or pass on helpful advice to fellow Expats. The meeting starts at 10.30 a.m. with an opportunity to have a buffet breakfast from 9.30 a.m. Everyone welcome! On Sunday, January 23, Dr. Sumalee Kewcharoen will speak about healthy living and weight control. Dr. Sumalee specializes in internal medicine, obesity and weight control and she will explain weight problems that many suffer from, possible causes and remedies that can be adopted. The Australian Thai chamber of Commerce (AustCham) is holding their annual Australia Day Ball 2005.
