Judy Hoppe, (center) President of the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya celebrated her birthday at the Mata Hari Brasserie with some friends recently. Seen enjoying a splendid dinner and fine company are (l-r) Peter Malhotra, Alvi Sinthuvanik, Bruce Hoppe,MD-Emerson Thailand, Sue K.-Consultant/Training Manager-Thai German Institute (TGI), Tom Zofkie-Copeland Thailand and Dilip Sathe, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering of Copeland Corp-Sydney Ohio, USA.


Mr. Andrew Khoo (center), General Manager, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya welcomed Sontaya Khunplome, (2nd left) Minister of Tourism and Sports, Juthamas Siriwan, (left) Governor-Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and their team before the opening ceremony of “Unseen Season of the East Festival”. On hand to greet them were Pattaya Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn, (2nd right) and Mr. Santichai Auejongprasith, Deputy Governor of TAT.


Mr. Saran Nimihut (3rd right), General Manager and Mr. Surapan Somthai (2nd left) Resident Manager of Siam Bayview Hotel, welcomed Mrs. Barbara M. Peisert (3rd left), Mr. Mathias Tewes (1st left), Planning & Contracting Manager and Mr. Oliver Libutzki (2nd right), Contracting Manager Asia - Longhaul Travel of TUI Deutschland Gmbh on their hotel inspection of the resort recently.


Mrs. Panga Vathanakul (right) MD of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort donates 10 computer units to the Redemptorist Vocational School, represented by Khun Kamman Srisa-Aed. The center is a Pattaya based learning institution for the physically handicapped. The school’s aim is “to develop a quality of life for the disabled and to initiate constructive programs that will benefit them and the general public”. The school provides free education and boarding to underprivileged persons with disabilities through government and private sponsorships. Looking on are representatives from the school as well as senior resort executives led by GM Mr. Alexander Haeusler (3rd left)


Dr. Luigi Simonetit and Mr. Lorenzo Strappazzon (holding signs) recently hosted a birthday celebration at the Dusit Resort, Pattaya Hotel for Alessandro Boscolo and Waewta Pangtit, (seated) manager of Saranchol Condominium.


The Siam Bayshore Resort, Pattaya recently organized a fire and safety drill for their staff to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of their guests.
