Pattaya International Hospital donated exercise equipment, which included weights, exercise mats, skipping ropes, exercise bicycles, and rowing machines at a total cost of 32,250 baht to the Banglamung Boys Home under the care of the Social Welfare Development Department. Mrs. Busakornrat Kittipat received the equipment with extreme gratitude on behalf of the children.


Naval Commander of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vice Admiral Do Xuan Cong (6th left) and his entourage recently paid a courtesy visit to Thai Defence Minister Chetha Thanajaro and met with senior officers of the Thai Army and the Royal Navy, which also included a tour of the Chakri Naruebet aircraft carrier. They discussed ways to increase bilateral ties, cooperate in joint sea patrols and establish a “hotline” for sea rescue activities. Vice Adm. Cong and his entourage were welcomed to the Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel by Mrs. Oranuch Chantramala (centre), the hotel’s Room & Guest Service Manager.


International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) Led by Pol. Lt. Col. Surapol Poolsiri (seated front row 2nd left) ILEA, Bangkok recently organized Supervisory Criminal Investigator Course in Thailand. Delegates from Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam who attended the course made the Siam Bayview Hotel their temporary home.


Mrs. Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya, Managing Director of The Montien Hotel, Pattaya celebrated her birthday surrounded by the hotel’s management and staff. Many other well wishers were on hand to wish her many happy returns.


The management and staff of the Amari Orchid Resort Pattaya recently organized a Charity Bowling Tournament in order to raise funds to complement the ‘Baht For A Better Life Foundation’ of the Amari Hotels and Resorts. This project supports the Duangprateep Foundation and Amari School Project for under privileged children. Dominik Stamm (centre) general manager, executive assistant managers Orapin Musiknavabutr (centre front row) and Michael Goetz (centre back row), led the management team, staff and clients for a day of sporting fun.


Seen celebrating their success at the Diana Garden Resort are children who had just completed a singing and acting course organized by music teacher Maneenuch Samaerasut. These courses are very popular amongst children of the community who want to spend their spare time learning new skills for the betterment of their lives.


Celebrating their recent marriage the well-known singers Nicole Theriault (centre) and Jirasak Phanphum (right) spent a few days at the Central Samui Beach Resort where they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Jacques Mury (left) the General Manager.
